   Just the same the 4th Earl of Devonshire said when he saw the rebuilt Chatsworth House he ordered to the architect William Talman. “By God! Mr Talman stole the entire “I Quattro Libri dell’Architettura” by Mr Andrea Palladio which I bought in Rome. Now I understand why he spent a lot of time in my library before beginning the work.
